What does part-time training mean?
- The part-time training usually lasts three years
- The weekly number of hours is about 30 hours
- The vocational school is attended full-time
- After passing the final exam, you will receive the same qualification as full-time trainees
- We accompany you in all training occupations in the dual system
Our training support includes:
- Socio-educational support: A supportive contact person is available to answer any questions you may have
- Learning support: Depending on your needs, we offer you lessons and exam preparation
- Flexible childcare: You can request this from us if your regular childcare is cancelled
Prerequisite for your participation is that you:
- have one or more children with secured all-day care
- live on unemployment benefit II or Hartz IV and the job center is responsible for you
- are under 30
- live in the city or region of Hanover
- have at least a secondary school leaving certificate
- have not completed initial training
- have a sufficiently good knowledge of German to be able to follow the vocational school lessons and the operational processes
So that you can start your part-time training with us, there is a preparatory course at SINA:
- Start: In the spring
- Times: Mon.-Fri. from 8:30 a.m. to 14:30 p.m
- Contents: (professional) orientation and decision-making, application training and internships, looking for an apprenticeship, preparation for training including vocational school
- Start of training: August/September
